Drop-in Service: Our Caregivers will be happy to drop in for an hour – or more. They’d love to share a friendly chat over a cup of coffee or tea, a walk around the neighbourhood, or read a chapter of the latest bestseller.
Hospital and Nursing Home Visits: At times admittance into a hospital or nursing home is unavoidable, however, there is no need for your loved one to feel alone. We will be there when you can’t be. Whether it’s mealtime assistance, trips to the library or just being there – The Compassionate Advantage Inc. ™ fills your family’s needs.
Caregiver Relief
Having a family member at home with a long term illness can be as tiring for the caregiver as it is for the affected person. Sometimes we just get so busy caring for others that we forget to care for ourselves. Long term caregivers need a break to recharge their batteries! The Compassionate Advantage Inc. ™ offers respite packages of three hours or more, allowing you time to re-energize. There’s no need to feel guilty – we will care for your loved one while you are out.
In-House Services
Shopping and Errands: Don’t have the time or energy to shop for groceries? Tired of depending on family and friends for a lift to the store? Just make a list and we will be happy to pick up your groceries for you. We will even help put everything away!
Appointments: Don’t have a car? Call us in advance, and we will do our best to arrange for transportation to and from your scheduled appointment. We will even wait with you.
Meal Preparation: We like to cook! If you don’t or you find it too tiring call us. We can come to your home and prepare fresh meals, the way you like them, using your own foods. We will even prepare 1 – 2 weeks worth of meals for your freezer.
Light Housekeeping: Household chores and laundry can sometimes wear you out. Seniors, you don’t need to do it all yourself anymore. Our housekeeping services are available from as little as an hour to as much as you need. It’s O.K. to ask us for help. Helping people is our passion and no job is too small or unimportant for us. We will even walk your dog! |
